To help ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay, please review the following information:
Self Check-in Procedure:
The keypad access code will be provided 48 hours prior to your arrival. There is no requirement to notify the host upon check-in.
Respect for the Neighbourhood:
Guests are expected to maintain courteous and considerate behaviour at all times. Excessive noise or any disturbance that negatively impacts neighbours is strictly prohibited.
Communication:
The host is available for communication daily via email. A resort phone line is also available should you require immediate assistance.
Pets:
ONLY DOGS are permitted as pets in the LOWER units, subject to a fee of $20 per night. Guests are responsible for promptly cleaning up after their dogs anywhere on the resort grounds.
Access to the Grounds:
Please remain within the designated boundaries of Lake Temiscaming Family Resort and refrain from entering neighbouring properties at all times.
Cancellation Policy:
We adhere to a Firm Cancellation Policy. Guests are eligible for a full refund when cancellation is made at least 30 days prior to the scheduled check-in date, and a partial refund for cancellations made between 7 and 30 days prior to check-in. Please refer to our Airbnb listing for full policy details.
Payment Policy:
For direct bookings through our website, your credit card will be charged 50% of the total amount at the time of reservation and the remaining balance 60 days prior to arrival. For reservations made within 60 days of arrival, your credit card will be charged 100% of the total amount at the time of booking.
Promotional Photo Permission:
During your stay, guests may be photographed or filmed for marketing and promotional purposes. By remaining on the premises, you acknowledge and consent to the possible use of your image in such materials. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please advise the photographer or videographer at the time, and every reasonable effort will be made to exclude you from any promotional content.
During Your Stay:
– Please remove your shoes indoors to protect the floors.
– Please use only the supplied clear plastic bags when bringing your garbage to the main bins.
– Smoking is not permitted inside any resort buildings; smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas, in accordance with applicable laws.
– Please comply with all provincial laws and regulations regarding water and fire safety.
– The number of guests on-site must not exceed the number specified in the booking.
– Please return all furniture, dishware, and other items to their original locations prior to departure.
Water Supply:
– The property is supplied with clean, safe, potable municipal water suitable for both drinking and cooking.
Sheets, Linens, Towels:
– Lake Temiscaming Family Resort can provide additional towels and linens upon request.
– Bed sizes include queen and twin.
– Selected units are equipped with twin-size pull-out sofas.
– Guests are kindly requested to bring their own bed linens unless otherwise arranged.
Zero Liability Clause:
– The host shall not be liable for any incidents or occurrences before, during, or after your stay, including but not limited to damage to vehicles, theft or loss of personal items, slips, trips or falls, water-related incidents, adverse weather conditions, or any other events beyond the host’s control. Refunds cannot be provided for circumstances outside of the host’s reasonable control.
After Your Stay:
– Please ensure the cottage is left in a clean and respectable condition upon departure, including washing dishes, placing garbage in clear bags and removing it to the appropriate bins, and wiping down all surfaces.
If there is anything you are dissatisfied with during your stay, please inform us as soon as possible so we may address it promptly. Our goal is to ensure your experience reflects the highest standards of service and quality.
